About Hallowed Lake
Hallowed Lake is now in the third phase of its existence, we are currently raising funds as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Our goal is 2.4 million dollars to buy land. Hallowed Lake will be a place where Veterans can retreat with their families or friends in top-of-the-line disability enabled cabins, which have a lake view, without worrying about the cost. The lake also provides any veteran the ability to fish and enjoy their time with those they bring. Hallowed Lake is a non-profit, Veteran owned, fishing lake enabling any and all veterans the chance to fish and relax. Once the 2.4 million is reached and land purchased, HalIowed Lake will then start Phase 4. Raising money to build cabins and an 100 acre lake. It will also house a large meeting area for groups to meet for team building or get to know themselves in the provided chapel. Peaceful relaxation is awaiting all veterans at Hallowed Lake.
What is a Veteran?
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to, and including my life."
That is honor. And there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
